A stalwart in consultancy, Ms. Majumder has 17+ years of experience and leads Progressive’s complex operations and implementation efforts with precision and dedication.

THE BEGINNING (1999)

Progressive as a brand was founded by Mr. Shiv Shankar Sahi in Vadodara, Gujarat. Initially focused on helping businesses achieve certifications and government subsidies, it expanded to multiple partnership units across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Indore, and Lucknow by 2008. A Free Zone Entity (FZE) was also opened in Dubai in 2010.

KOLKATA CHAPTER (2014)

Mr. Sahi searched for the right business partner in Kolkata for eight years. In 2014, he met Mr. Subir Ray Chaudhuri, who proposed a business model with Ms. Moumita Majumder joining for her 8+ years of domain experience. The partnership unit began with three certification standards and achieved 75+ Lacs revenue by 2018.

PROGRESSIVE TODAY

After Mr. Sahi’s resignation in 2018, Progressive Associates evolved into Progressive Innovators Pvt. Ltd. in 2022, led by Ms. Moumita Majumder and Mr. Subir Ray Chaudhuri. With 35+ employees and 100+ empaneled implementers, the company serves 3000+ organizations in Kolkata, providing a wide range of consultancy services.
